These are the original Estate size Imperial replacement mailboxes. Ring pull or door knob. They will only fit Imperial Estate Mailbox Posts. These Imperial Mailboxes are available with an optional newspaper holder.
Don’t order the wrong size replacement Imperial mailbox! Open the door of your existing mailbox. The hinge should have four screws on each side (read below).

Description
These are the original Estate (large) size Imperial replacement mailboxes. Ring pull or door knob. They will only fit the matching Imperial “Estate” Mailbox Posts.
These Imperial Estate Size Mailboxes measure approximately 10″ wide x 12″ high x 22″ deep.
“Do I have an Imperial Mailbox”?
These mailboxes will only fit on Imperial Estate Mailbox Posts. Many mailboxes from every other foundry can resemble these mailboxes, but may not actually be an Imperial Mailbox. Imperial mailboxes have a four hole pattered in the back wall of the mailbox. If you don’t have that four hole pattern, then you probably don’t have an Imperial Mailbox, and you shouldn’t make this purchase, because this mailbox will most likely be difficult to attach to your non-matching post.
“Do I have a Standard or Estate size Imperial Mailbox?”
It’s very easy to distinguish a standard size Imperial Mailbox from an estate size. Just open the door and look at the hinge. If the hinge has three screws on each side, then it’s a standard mailbox. If it has four screws on each side, then it’s an estate size mailbox.
