Replacement Imperial Mailbox Post

These are the original Imperial replacement mailbox posts.   They will fit all Imperial Mailboxes and are available in all the current Imperial Mailbox Colors.  This listing is for the post only.  You may add a newspaper holder or scroll bracket.

“Do I have an Imperial Mailbox”?

These mailbox posts will only fit authentic Imperial Mailboxes.  Many mailboxes from every other foundry can resemble these mailboxes, but may not actually be an Imperial Mailbox.  Imperial mailboxes have a four hole pattered in the back wall of the mailbox. If you don’t have that four hole pattern, then you probably don’t have an Imperial Mailbox, and you shouldn’t make this purchase, because this Imperial mailbox post will most likely be difficult to attach to your non-Imperial mailbox.

Post # 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9

All these posts are direct-burials… meaning…  dig a hole, plant the post, put some concrete around the pole.  These posts allow for approximately 18-20″ into the ground.

Post # 4

Mailbox Post # 4 is a bolt-down surface mount unit,,, meaning it needs to be mounted to a surface, like a concrete pad, or maybe a sidewalk.  There is another version of the #4 Post that includes a ground post.  This separate add-on item gets bolted to the bottom of Post #4 so it can be buried in a hole like a normal mailbox post.

Post # 6

Imperial manufactures Estate size Mailboxes.  The only post they sell that is proportional to the size of an Estate Mailbox is Mailbox Post # 6.  This means there are two versions of  Post # 6.  One fits the standard size Imperial Mailbox.  The other fits the estate size Imperial Mailbox.  If you’re selecting Post #6, be sure to select correctly.  If you’re not sure which mailbox you have… then give us a call.
