The Dover Vinyl Mailbox Post is made from maintenance-free dimensional vinyl (like Azek). Vinyl dimensional lumber similar in look and strength to wood. The Dover Vinyl Mailbox Post has the look of wood without all the rot. Optional newspaper holder available as add-on.
The Dover Vinyl Mailbox Post includes a simple boxed post base. The base is pre-attached to the post.
- Installs easily over a standard 4×4 wood post (not included). The wood post will go inside the tall post and not be visible.
- Simple attachment assembly required. Screw bracket to post. Attach mailbox to bracket.

Basic assembly required. You will receive the tall post, the assembled bracket, and cap with all the hardware for attaching to a standard 4×4 pressure treated wood ground post (not included).
MAILBOX NOT INCLUDED: Please visit our Post Mount Mailbox pages to find a new mailbox for your post. The post are is essentially a flat surface and a handy person should have no problem adapting almost any mailbox to fit. Our Newport Mailbox or the Whitehall Mailbox are very good choices for this mailbox post. Also the Cast Floral Leaf or Cast Hummingbird. If you add a mailbox, the screws to attach that mailbox to this post will not be included.
