Annapolis Vinyl Mailbox Post

Description

The Annapolis Vinyl Mailbox Post is made from maintenance-free dimensional vinyl (like Azek).  Vinyl dimensional lumber is similar in look and strength to wood.  The Annapolis Mailbox Post has the look of wood without all the rot.  Additionally, optional newspaper holder available as add-on.

DETAILS

• Installs over a standard 4×4 wood post (not included).  The wood post will go inside the tall post and will not be visible.
• Simple attachment assembly required.  Screw bracket to post.  Attach mailbox to bracket.
• Size:  60″H x 5.5″W.   Post Arm length: 18″
• Generic mounting board (included but unattached)
• Optional newspaper box
• Note: 4×4 wood post, mailbox, and mailbox mounting hardware NOT included.
• Made in the USA

Basic assembly required.  You will receive the tall post, the assembled bracket, and cap with all the hardware for attaching to a standard 4×4 pressure treated wood ground post (not included).

COLORS

Our vinyl mailbox posts come in two basic colors… white or cedar (see photos)

WHITE

The standard white color is the uncoated white color of the vinyl board itself.  This standard white vinyl color is what we sell the most. However, you have the option of having the mailbox post painted black, clay, or white.

Why put white paint on top of white vinyl?  Answer… because it will give an added consistency to the overall look of the white color.  For customers who are REALLY detail minded, the cut edges of the white vinyl have a slightly different look than the flat sides.  The white paint blends everything into one consistent color throughout.

If you need a color other than black, clay, or white… let us know.  We might be able to help.

CEDAR

The cedar vinyl has a wood grain look, so we don’t paint cedar vinyl a solid color.  Instead we offer stains that are semi-transparent so not to lose the look of the wood grain.  And again with cedar vinyl, the cut edges look different that the flat sides, so a coat of colored stain gives a better overall consistent look to the post.  We offer four colors (see photos), and again, if you need a different color, let us know.

FLOWER BOXES:  We offer a matching flower box for all our vinyl mailbox posts.

EXTRA TALL POST FOR LIGHT or ADDRESS SIGN:

The standard height for our Annapolis Mailbox Post is 60″ tall.  There is an option for a 76″ tall post to accommodate a hanging address plaque or light fixture or perhaps an American flag (see links below).

MAILBOX NOT INCLUDED

Please visit our Post Mount Mailbox pages to find a new mailbox for your post.  The post arm is essentially a flat surface and any handy person should have no problem attaching almost any mailbox.

Our Janzer Mailbox, Cast Floral Leaf, Cast Hummingbird, or Cast Classic are all very good choices for the Annapolis Mailbox Post.  If you add a mailbox, it may or may not include all the basic screws needed to attach it to the post.
