Description
The 611 Imperial Mailbox Package is one of our most popular traditional looking mailbox packages.
We’ve been selling Imperial Mailboxes since the early 1990’s. They were one of our first suppliers. We’ve sold hundreds of their mailboxes and posts. They originate from a small family owned factory in Alabama. They have been supplying mailboxes, posts, street lamps, and other site amenities for many years.
The finishes are excellent and probably nothing holds paint better than Imperial Mailboxes. The castings are imported, but all Imperial Mailboxes are finished and painted here in the US at their Alabama-based factory.
IMPERIAL MAILBOX FEATURES:
- Very easy assembly and installation. The mailbox attaches to the post with just four screws. The 611 Imperial Mailbox is a direct-burial unit. Just dig a hole and plant the post in the ground.
- The finishes are excellent, because not many mailboxes holds paint better than Imperial Mailboxes. I recently saw about 25 Imperial Mailbox units that we installed in the same development about 10 years ago and those mailboxes have held up remarkably well.
- The #1 sign plate is included. It fits up to 2″ numbers. You can upgrade to the #3 sign plate that fits 3″ numbers (+$19). You can leave the sign plate blank or purchase the factory supplied polished brass numbers. We offer both 2″ and 3″ brass numbers with the option of having them attached at the factory or not.

DIMENSIONS
Mailboxes:  Interior dimensions of the mailbox are 7″ wide x 8″ high x 19″ deep.
Post: The post is approximately 84″ tall to allow approx 24″ below ground and 60″ above ground.
