4800 Series Deluxe Mailbox Post Replacement Brackets

If you own a damaged Deluxe Mailbox Post from Salsbury Industries, you can purchase this 2-part aluminum replacement bracket. Your purchase includes the top “arm” with a Contemporary support brace below.  These aluminum Deluxe Mailbox Post brackets match up with the popular Mailbox Model # MB4850 (available separately).

Aluminum is the preferred material for mailboxes and mailbox posts because it does not rust or rot with time.  They can also be repainted when needed in the future.

No mailbox included. No post included. Just the replacement 2-part bracket.

The post “arm” where the mailbox sits is essentially a flat surface with four holes in a 2 5/8″ square pattern.  If you’re handy, you could adapt this post arm/brace for use with many other mailboxes.

Buyer beware. These parts only work with the Salsbury Industries Deluxe Mailbox Posts and the Salsbury 4850 Mailbox. We do not guarantee the parts will work with any other unit.

If you own one of the discontinued Salsbury Designer Mailbox Posts (4825, 4835, or 4845), this bracket will not easily solve your problem, because the holes don’t like up.  You could drill and tap new threaded holes

You might also consider the Universal Mailbox Bracket that looks different, but has a hole pattern that matches all those discontinued mailbox posts.  The Universal Mailbox Bracket also has holes on the top that match the 4850 Mailbox.
