Our Universal Mailbox Post Bracket has a wide range of uses.
It can be used on it’s own by attaching it to a vinyl or wood vertical post. The design has a variety of holes that can be used for attaching the bracket to almost anything.
Available powder-coated black or white.
No screws or hardware included. Use your old hardware, if appropriate, or visit a local hardware store to purchase exactly what is needed for your specific installation.

Our Universal Mailbox Post Bracket has a wide range of uses.
- It can be used on it’s own by attaching it to a vinyl or wood vertical post. The design has a variety of holes that can be used for attaching the bracket to almost anything.
- The four hole pattern on the post-side of the bracket form a rectangle that measure 2″ wide x 7″ tall.
- That four hole pattern matches the hole pattern of the discontinued bracket from Salsbury Industries popular aluminum Designer and Decorative Posts (Models 4825, 4835, & 4845).
- The centered vertical two hole pattern on the post side is 4.5″ apart and that matches the Landover Gibraltar Steel mailbox post by Solar Group.
- Our Universal Mailbox Post Bracket also has a hole pattern on the top that matches the hole pattern of Salsbury’s popular mailbox model 4850 (2 5/8″ square).
- No screws or hardware included. There are too many possible ways of using this bracket and there isn’t one set of hardware that can cover all the possible installation scenarios.
- Made from galvanized steel and available powder-coated black or white.
- Overall measurement: 16″ wide x 9 1/4″ tall and 3 3/8″ wide.
