Vinyl gazebo cupolas have white vinyl bases and a traditional looking copper roof. The white 3/4″ vinyl lumber is called AZEK trim boards or you can paint it the color of your choice. There are paints specifically formulated for coating vinyl lumber. Speak with your local paint store for a specific paint recommendation. The real advantage of Azek, or any vinyl dimensional lumber, is that it’s maintenance-free. It’s not like thin vinyl siding, it’s dimensional lumber, so it has a thickness of 3/4″ with qualities that make it perfect for exterior decor like cupolas, because wants to climb up on their roof to paint a cupola? (Not me!) You can choose between a louver or window mid-section. These vinyl gazebo cupolas come with flat bottoms. The roof peak can be “closed” or set-up with a matching white vinyl finial. If you opt for a “closed” roof because you want to add a cast weathervane with mounting “feet”… please note that the copper roof by itself cannot properly support a weathervane. You’ll need to add a wood “pyramid” under the roof peak… so there is something solid to anchor the weathervane mounting screws. These vinyl gazebo cupolas are now available in two sizes: Small Size: 18″ w x 24″ h Large Size: 22″ w x 28″ h Finials add an additional 4″ to the height. Usually these units are usually in-stock. Delivery in approx 2 weeks. They ship from one of our oldest Amish workshop suppliers. As you would expect, the quality of work done by these Lancaster craftsmen is excellent.
