The Providence Vinyl Mailbox Post is made from maintenance-free dimensional vinyl (like Azek). It has an optional newspaper holder available as add-on. Vinyl dimensional lumber is similar in look and strength to wood, but it doesn’t rot.
This is a very large mailbox post. If you purchase it, you’ll be making a very big “mailbox statement”. For the right customer, this will be a beautiful addition to the landscape of your home.
- Installs over a standard 4×4 wood post (not included). The wood post will go inside the tall post and not be visible.
- Simple attachment assembly required. Screw bracket to post. Attach mailbox to bracket.

Basic assembly required. You will receive the tall post, the assembled bracket, and cap with all the hardware for attaching to a standard 4×4 pressure treated wood ground post (not included).
BEWARE: This is a very large mailbox post…. much larger than any other average mailbox post. Please pay careful attention to the dimensions.
MAILBOX NOT INCLUDED: Please visit our Post Mount Mailbox pages to find a new mailbox for your post. The post are is essentially a flat surface and a handy person should have no problem adapting almost any mailbox to fit. Our Whitehall Mailbox or Keystone Series mailboxes are an excellent choice for a mailbox post of this size. If you add a mailbox, the screws to attach that mailbox to this post will not be included.
