The Imperial Mailbox Package D711 is the traditional cast aluminum mailbox, top mount post, and number sign.
About your mailbox:
Imperial mailboxes originate from a small family owned factory in Alabama. They have been supplying mailboxes, posts, street lamps, and other site amenities for many many years. They’re probably one of the oldest mailbox companies in the country. You can never go wrong purchasing an Imperial Mailbox.
The finishes are excellent and probably nothing holds paint better than Imperial Mailboxes. I recently saw about 25 Imperial Mailbox units that we installed in the same development about 10 years ago. Those mailboxes have held up remarkably well.
This is the D711 unit. The D-7-1-1 equals: The #D Mailbox Post + #7 Post Base + #1 Sign Plate + #1 Mailbox.
DIMENSIONS:
Mailboxes:Â Â Interior dimensions of the mailbox are 7″ wide x 8″ high x 19″ deep.
Post: The post is 4″ round tube approximately 60″ tall with a separate decorative base piece. It allows approx 20″ below ground and 40″ above to meet postal regulations.
