Description
The Classic Faceplate Mailbox is 100% powder coated aluminum and was made for years of maintenance free use. This mailbox is an insert specifically designed for installation in a curbside column.
The Classic Faceplate Mailbox is available in four colors with the choice of three accent finishes. It ships from the California factory warehouse and usually arrives to you in one week or less.
The standard unit has polished brass accents. Units with antique bronze or satin nickel are $30 more. Prices include delivery to the 48 US States.
The Classic Faceplate Mailbox features hand-polished solid brass accent pieces and four different colors (almond, black, bronze and white) with three accent door finishes (polished brass, antique bronze, and satin nickel).
We do not sell these mailboxes as locking units, even though there is a lock on the bottom door. Most people just leave the door lock in the open position. The door itself will be held closed with a strong magnet. The lock will be a visual deterrent, since it will appear as a locking mailbox. Even with the lock engaged, the top door is wide open and a hand can easily remove the mail inside.
There is a “high security” version of this mailbox, but we don’t sell them, because the delivery slot is so small, it has caused an occasional problem with the USPS.
These column mailboxes have an aluminum “can” attached to the back of the face plate where the mail collects.
