We sell this bracket as a replacement for broken mailbox post. This raw wood bracket has natural color variations from light to dark. The wood we select is based more on seeing fewer knots rather than consistent color (since we think most people probably paint them).

This is a cedar wood mailbox post bracket. It measures approximately 16″ x 16″ and is available in raw cedar wood. See photos for all measurements
We sell this bracket as a replacement for broken mailbox post. The raw wood bracket has color variations from light to dark. The wood we select is based more on seeing fewer knots rather than consistent color (since we think most people probably paint them). They are hand-cut with a routed front edge.
Includes 3 attachment screws for mounting. We also include a 6″ long binding lag bolt to firm up the connection to the vertical post. There brackets are probably best for more light-weight mailboxes… or as a decorative add-on when placed under the horizontal arm of a 4×4 post.
We have some re-purpose wood boards that can be used as a mounting board. They measure 5.75″ wide and are suitable for the standard size typical rural-style mailbox. The add-on cost for a wood mounting board is $9.99.
